gps not working properly after iOS 9.3 update

Hi all.

After updating to iOS 9.3 my GPS cannot find my exact location. It keeps telling me I am in a big area, (Triangulating) seems like it does not activate the GPS.

Sometimes very little it works and give me the correct position, but 97% of the time its not working. Anyone else with the same problem?

Besides that: A hot phone & bad WIFI

Folks, I have iPhone 6 and after updating to 10.2.1, I have lost wifi signal strength ( I have to sit in front of router to get signals) and GPS just cannot locate me. I did reset, hard reset, restore, got hardware checked at Apple but to no avail. I had to go out of town relying heavily on my GPS in phone and the **** thing just dint work. I never even dream that one day I will have to say the apple is not reliable. This has happened to me and this can happen to anyone.

Same debilitating issue here....my iPhone 6 can no longer get GPS signal after the 9.3.1 upgrade. I am now on 9.3.2 and no improvement. I literally have to take my iPad in the car for directions and it is so annoying. None of the nav. apps work anymore. Here is what I have tried....all have failed.

1. Went to Apple store and had hardware tested...they promised me there was no issue with the phone and that it must be all the apps were bad (lol).

2. Went to Verizon and got a new SIM card.

3. Hard reset

4. Reset network setting, location/privacy settings

5. Erased phone and installed backup

6. Uninstall and reinstall nav apps

NOTHING works. Apple store pretends this is an issue they haven't seen before. This SAME problem occurred with my 4s iPhone - it was ruined after an upgrade. This is beyond frustrating. The company continues to do nothing and refuses to acknowledge there is an issue. We have always been an Apple house...we have literally every product they have made. I can't believe it has come to this but I am going to buy a Samsung. Apple, PLEASE respond if you have any suggestions before I have to select the nuclear option. I simply cannot be without GPS and Uber in LA.

It;been more than 2 months now, and i;m still getting no news for apple solution to fix my problem. It's really annoying that i cant use my phone properly without wifi and gps signal..

Considering so many people having the same problem, it must be the phone hardware/software defect. Apple shoulds be responsible for this.

Successful fix for GPS/Bluetooth issues on iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.2:

I am not sure if this issue is still going around, but I finally pursued a physical fix to this issue with a cost of under $15.00 (I was originally 100% this was an iOS issue, but it was not).

Symptoms:

1. GPS: Any time I used Waze I received a "cannot locate GPS" error (make sure you are not indoors, etc.). Also, any other GPS related apps (maps or google maps) would not accurately locate me and I was not able to use the directions function for any app.

2. Bluetooth: My phone would stream music to my Bluetooth speaker, but if I walked too far away from the speaker with the phone (about 6 ft?) or if I put the phone in my pocket/covered the top of the phone with my hand, the music would begin to skip or completely stop.

Fix:

1. Purchase a new "Original iPhone 6 Wifi Antenna Signal Flex Cable Ribbon" :https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YCKU3XS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UT F8&psc=1

2. I also HIGHLY recommend purchasing a repair tool kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X60B0GY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UT F8&psc=1

3. Follow the instructions for the "iPhone 6 Logic Board Replacement" Once you complete the final step (38) flip the logic board over and the antenna will be on the back side :https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+6+Logic+Board+Replacement/30696

Results: The installation took me about 1.5 - 2 hours. I went slow and made sure to disassemble the phone in a very careful and logical method so that I could easily reassemble.

1. I powered on my phone, went near a window, and turned Waze on. GPS was identified and I was able to use the app as normal. All map apps are functioning again.

2. Bluetooth music streaming works in a normal capacity. I am able to walk 20-30 feet away and the music does not skip even with the phone in my pocket. However, if I completely cup my hands over the top of the phone, the music stops streaming.

Apologies for not having found a solution. I'm having a crappy time with this issue as well. I've reset my phone to new and also taken it in to the Genius Bar. Diagnostics came out well so their only solution for me was to buy another iphone6 for $300 as my phone is no longer under warranty. I've only had this phone for 1 1/2 years. this is so frustrating. I wonder if android users have the same problem.

I just spoke with online support and was sent from first line support to advanced support. The advanced support rep looked into my profile and came back offering a one time exception to replace my out of warranty iPhone. If you are having this issue, I would recommend you give a call to customer support a try. But first make sure you go through the motions with the Genius bar. The combination of an error free HW diagnostic test and the factory refresh of the SW at the Genius Bar put me on solid ground for the replacement. The total time on the call today was 37 minutes.

I have the same problem as everyone who has commented on this... I was wondering if it is a network problem. As in my case AT&T might have a glitch with the ios.9 software once I upgraded it... I was at the APPLE store the other day & they adviced I go on my iTunes and do the "restore" tactic. I did all that but to no avail... WAZE is stll not working and Apple Maps still has a glitch... SO ENFURIATING...

I really want to get this fixed since WAZE is so much better to use than any other real-time navigation out there
