gps not working properly after iOS 9.3 update

Hi all.

After updating to iOS 9.3 my GPS cannot find my exact location. It keeps telling me I am in a big area, (Triangulating) seems like it does not activate the GPS.

Sometimes very little it works and give me the correct position, but 97% of the time its not working. Anyone else with the same problem?

Besides that: A hot phone & bad WIFI

Folks, I have iPhone 6 and after updating to 10.2.1, I have lost wifi signal strength ( I have to sit in front of router to get signals) and GPS just cannot locate me. I did reset, hard reset, restore, got hardware checked at Apple but to no avail. I had to go out of town relying heavily on my GPS in phone and the **** thing just dint work. I never even dream that one day I will have to say the apple is not reliable. This has happened to me and this can happen to anyone.

Same issues in Italy, iPhone 5s and iOS 9.5.5 Gps not recognized in Waze, and other apps, Apple maps and google maps lost or are not tracking well, (big circle , wrong location, connection lost) it seems are more using cellular data to track. " Xgps "not recognize gps device," gpsinfo" says poor signal showing big tracking circle of some km. Useless to say that I got lost several times, incredible to say that I previously have an old 2011 HTC Wildfire android 2.2 (!!) never lost signal.

Wi fi is also often loosing connection in my house.

I understand iOS 10.x does not fix anything, isn't true?

I have the chance to give back the new phone and be refunded, or step into some "antenna changing" ecc. issues...

Ps

I cannot express my thoughts about all this "Apple operations" cause it might sound like "conspiracy theory" (stupid Lemma for inducted stupid society) but is more then evident who is gaining and who is "turned around".

Technology.

We have the same exact problem on Iphone 6, out of warranty, Apple doesn't take responsibility< we have a case number, their update damaged these phones, I had a huge argument with the Apple engineer, because they refused to acknowledge and fix this, I will not relax until I'll get them to fix it or replace the phone, for the first time in years I'm thinking of replacing it with a non apple product (5 phones), and will be advocate against apple products unless this resolved by Apple.

I visited apple store as well, but they are not ready to take any responsibility and offered me 2 things.

1. Trade in my old phone for new phone, valuating my iphone 6 (out of warranty) for 200$

2. Another was giving me a well conditioned iphone 6 replaced (I need to pay 300$) for that.

I don't really think they really understand what customer service means.

So, you have a phone that's out of warranty and you were offered not one but two ways to replace it a a significantly lower cost and you're complaining about bad customer service? Sheesh... kids today.

Are you kidding us? Your phone suffered a hardware failure. Perhaps coincidentally around the same time as an update, but the update did not cause the hardware failure. Things don't work like that, and if a software update caused it there would be hundreds of millions of phones with the same problem. There aren't. You've been unlucky. If your car blows an engine out of warranty do you think the manufacturer will sell you a new car for 1/3 the cost of a new one?

Did you read all the other Iphone 6 users comments? did they all suffered a hardware failure coincidentally around the same time as an update? same exact problem? same exact symptoms ? I can understand one or two phones, but they are many and they all complain about the same exact GPS problem, my phone had a very Strong "otter Box" case, it never got damage, however the problem started right after the update! you have to be really stupid to believe this is simply a coincidence or maybe you work for Apple and you guys don't want to own it...

they should replace it for free and apologize for all the inconvenience that has caused.

Answer this.. how many people know about this site? how many people know they can express there complains here, are all the Iphone 6 users reading this?

I just tell you this :they all have the same exact problem to the teeth!

stil 0.000001 still leaves us with 1 milions or even 100,000 users with this problem, isnt this enough for the to jump and fix this.

Mark my words, they messed up and they will either recall it or find a free way to fix this.

I 100% right not even 99%.

Millions. It's the busiest support forum on the Internet. About 5 years ago there was a problem that affected about 5% of the 100 million phones in use. There was several threads about it. The largest had 13,500 12,700 posts and 2.5 million views.
