After updating to iOS 9.3 push mail not working on any account

Steve I think its shocking that on an Apple dedicated forum to help with problems that NOT 1 person from apple has replied with a solution.

Same Push issue here. iPhone 6s Plus on iOS 9.3. Very annoying!

nickmn73, nobody from Apple support will chime in here. This is more of a forum than actual support. At the same time I am having the same issue. No emails push through.

I was experiencing the same issue but updating to 9.3.1 seems to have resolved whatever the problem was.

Agreed. I've been running the update all week with no issue.

Same here. Iphone6, ios 9.3.1, push notifications no longer working. This morning it seems to not even be downloading new emails when I open it. Hopefully there is a fix A.S.A.P.

Same problem. All 3 mail accounts. 9.3.1 5s. Have to remember to open the mail app now to receive email. Missing urgent communication. Not good.

Same problem - push not working in accounts where it previously did (Hotmail/Outlook and a work Exchange account). Appears to need to fetch by manually going into app and allowing it to check.

I have been experiencing the same issue with Yahoo mail for close to two weeks. I have contacted Yahoo multiple times, being that this is a constant and recurring issue with them. ☹️ However, when they did finally respond they only provided generic troubleshooting steps which I had already tried. So, maybe it is a combination iOS and Yahoo issue. ****A fix would be GREAT....has anyone had any luck????****

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.1

I am having this issue as well. It's hit or miss on my iPhone 6 but constantly a problem on my new iPad Pro. Restored to new and still an issue. Have contacted Apple and tried everything the engineers have suggested with no luck. Running IOS 9.3.1. Email accounts not pushing are iCloud, Yahoo, and Exchange. All of these accounts used to work flawlessly on my previous iPad as well as my iPhone. The only way i have been able to get mail is by opening the mail app. I even tried the setting to fetch every 15 minutes with no luck as well. Seems like some sort of communication issue with certain products/accounts as this doesn't seem to be a problem with everyone's devices.

Gmail ended push support in iOS Mail quite some time ago.

Most others have as all, in an effort to push (pun intended) their own iOS Mail apps.

Gmail is one of the few that don't offer push. Yahoo still offers it and of coarse iCloud still does. This issue for me is with all accounts that I know support push email.
