(No Sender) coming up in my search in mail

When I search in mail a lot of the emails that come up are from (no sender)? The emails themselves just contain all the text in a jumbled format from an actual email. Sometimes half the search results are these (no sender) and it makes it difficult to find what I'm looking for. Any idea on how to get rid of them. I'm running ElCapatain 10.11.3 on a 5k iMac.

I'm having a similar issue and it's only with my Outlook Exchange email account. One thing I find interesting is the my "No Sender" emails usually have an attachment and they are all stored in a "Files" folder under my Exchange mailbox. The "Files" folder is not displayed in the Outlook website-based app, nor is it displayed in the Outlook desktop app for OS X. Curiously, the Outlook iPad app has a "files" tab that keeps track of all attachments.

I use the search feature frequently and it's annoying to have a search populated with "No Sender" emails with attachment content displayed in text as in the picture above. I've since deleted the iOS version of Outlook on my iPad and still getting these No Sender emails. I've also tried rebuilding the mailbox and nothing. Hope a fix arises soon. I've already ditched Mail for Outlook on my desktop, but cant wait to go back to Mail.

After thinking about it for a bit I came up with a potential workaround. What I did was disable my exchange account in Mail. I then set up a new account. However, instead of letting Mail automatically configure the settings by choosing the Exchange option, I set up an account with manually configured IMAP settings. The Outlook Web App has the server settings for anyone to set up an imap eMail client. My new IMAP based set up no longer has the "Files" folder and the no sender emails no longer populate searches. I'll report back if I find any issues using this workaround.
