iOS 9.3 - Safari/Mail freezes after clicking links on iPhone 6S

Hi,

Never had any problems with my iPhone 6S. Just upgraded to iOS 9.3 without any issues. After the upgrade, I can't click links when searching something on Google in Safari or clicking a link in the Mail, the apps just freeze.

I tried clearing Safari history data/cache, closing all apps and restarting the phone (both regular and holding both home/power key), disabling all sorts of settings form Safari settings, but no luck.. Anyone with an idea how to sort it out?

I have the same problem with mail, Safari, and messages. Links work with the gmail app. Links work in Chrome but only with a long click to get the option to open in a new tab. It appears this has happened before with 9.2.1 but I could not find an answer that fixed the problem. I do not think it started until 24 hours after the update. iPhone 6s+ 128gb 9.3.

I have been issued TWO brand new phones in the past three days, and have made five trips to the Apple Store.

Even on the 6S Plus that has not been updated , I am having the same issue again--/ this time, 46

minutes after leaving the store with a smile on my face. Every app that could be deleted was deleted, and the plan was for me to add one at a time, assuming everything was okay.

Alas, every link through email, Safari, or Chrome causes the phone to freeze.

The issue began after I updated, but I am now on a brand new, non- updated 6 S us, experiencing the same issue!!!

INcredibly frustrating! Ideas, ANYONE?!?

I noticed this happening last Thursday. I don't remember it happening before that time people are stating that it is booking.com app or wikipedia. I don't have booking app but I do have wikipedia app that was updated on the 22nd. The problem like I stated in earlier posts was that I actually wiped my phone clean and tested all functionality that I was having issues with. Being able to bring a link in Mail worked and going to this site on my phone worked. When I restored my phone from backup the issue came back. I was going to just start from scratch but waiting to see if apple is going to fix.

Hi there.

Just had a chat with the German Apple Support Team.

They told me it was an iOS issue and that their engineers are working hard on releasing an update very soon. They even were working on the bank holidays (Easter).

I asked if the sentence "It simply works" not counts any more.

They replied: "It still does. Do you know the saying of sitting on one`s high horse? This time we fell. And I apologize for that very much."

Okay. It shouldn't happen but it happened. Lets give them a chance to fix it soon.

Apple like all other companies that create systems for computer etc. will come out with an update and why have only 100 people if that testing it at Apple. let the millions of iphone users be the testers and have all of us let Apple know whats wrong with the update. At least they fixed the press to speak text messages so that it works the first time.

I updated my iPhone 5 a few hours after the official launch of iOS 9.3. There was no problem. After that, I updated my iPad 2 to iOS 9.3 and it was kidnapped by Apple Activation Server for almost 4 days. After fixing the iPad 2 with the suggestion from Apple support, iPad resumed. Then I updated my iPhone 6. It freezes after clicking on links with Safari, Chrome and Mail. This is the second nightmare to me for iOS 9.3.

Both iPad 2 and iPhone 6 are my daily use devices. What's wrong with Apple?
