iOS 9.3 - Safari/Mail freezes after clicking links on iPhone 6S

Hi,

Never had any problems with my iPhone 6S. Just upgraded to iOS 9.3 without any issues. After the upgrade, I can't click links when searching something on Google in Safari or clicking a link in the Mail, the apps just freeze.

I tried clearing Safari history data/cache, closing all apps and restarting the phone (both regular and holding both home/power key), disabling all sorts of settings form Safari settings, but no luck.. Anyone with an idea how to sort it out?

I have the same problem with mail, Safari, and messages. Links work with the gmail app. Links work in Chrome but only with a long click to get the option to open in a new tab. It appears this has happened before with 9.2.1 but I could not find an answer that fixed the problem. I do not think it started until 24 hours after the update. iPhone 6s+ 128gb 9.3.

i saw this issue on my ipad pro actually. i did not see it on my iphone, ipad mini or ipad air. strangely when i searched something in google, none of the links that google gave as a search results , worked. no link on safari was working. the same i observed on the google chrome browser.

i downloaded the puffin browser, and it works quite well.

surely a software fix is needed.

I'm having this same problem on my 6S Plus, started after the overnight update to new iOS. Why isn't Apple being proactive and saying, "We have a problem, we are working to resolve it. We recommend you do x, y, or z, instead of leaving it to the community chat? Not the level of service and support I expect from Apple for my premium product.

We have a new Booking.com update released today!!!

I did a factory reset on my phone. Installed every app I had before except Booking.com and the phone works perfect. I don't dare to install the newly updated Booking.com app again, especially when they never write anything meaningful in their update log. What have they done now? Is it a fix for the problem or why did they release an update today?
