iOS 9.3 - Safari/Mail freezes after clicking links on iPhone 6S

Hi,

Never had any problems with my iPhone 6S. Just upgraded to iOS 9.3 without any issues. After the upgrade, I can't click links when searching something on Google in Safari or clicking a link in the Mail, the apps just freeze.

I tried clearing Safari history data/cache, closing all apps and restarting the phone (both regular and holding both home/power key), disabling all sorts of settings form Safari settings, but no luck.. Anyone with an idea how to sort it out?

I have the same problem with mail, Safari, and messages. Links work with the gmail app. Links work in Chrome but only with a long click to get the option to open in a new tab. It appears this has happened before with 9.2.1 but I could not find an answer that fixed the problem. I do not think it started until 24 hours after the update. iPhone 6s+ 128gb 9.3.

I have the same problem. I have tried turn off JavaScript which helps but it leaves some web pages not displaying properly. I've found a solution using the Google Ap which allows searches and search links to work ok; when touching a hyperlink it gives the option to 'open' which works okay. I have full search facility restored this way but is not as convenient as using the safari header bar.

Raffa, I wonder if this provide some clues. I try to follow what you wrote but one very strange thing - Booking.com app never shows up on my app list on iTunes. All my other deleted apps that I did not physically removed from iTunes were still there, except Booking.com. I even reinstall from the phone and did a sync with iTunes and it still didn't show up on the app list. The more bizarre thing is that the icon of Booking.com shows up on the picture of the phone screen where the app was installed but the app itself is missing from the list on the left where you can install or remove. I can click on the icon on the picture to remove the app from the phone but cannot find it on the list to reinstall it. This is very strange.

Frustrating. Same problem started Saturday out of the blue. 9.3 copied down to my 5s, but I had not loaded it yet. After reading about this issue I actually deleted the update. That did not solve the problem, however my phone just receiving it seems to have caused it. It downloaded again today - and it cannot run at this point as apple has disabled it. They need to fix this soon! I can workaround the browser issue - used chrome for most things anyway. No links from email is troublesome.

Supposed to upgrade to a 6s in a couple of weeks. Not hurrying now. Android??
