iOS 9.3 failed verification - no internet connection

I am trying to update my iPhone 5s to iOS 9.3 as prompted by my phone.

The new software has been downloaded but this message popped up when I was trying to install it. The message says, " iOS 9.3 failed verification because you are no longer connected to the internet". This occurred whilst my phone is on stable wifi internet connection with me being able to browse on safari and having messages coming in and out of my messaging apps and mailbox. Besides, I can even email the terms and conditions of the iOS 9.3 update on the install page to my email address (i.e. internet gotta be working then).

I have tried several methods as suggested by others in the past i.e. 1) Killing the settings app and restart the process again and 2) Resetting my network settings. Unfortunately, none of these methods work for me and the phone is still coming up with the same error message when I try to install the update.

It would be appreciated if someone can shed some light on this please.

I am having the same issue but my iPad is brand new, just bought it a few weeks ago. So the older device explanation cannot be the issue. Does anyone from Apple ever visit these discussion forums?

My mom is having the same issue.

She has an iPad 2 with iOS 6.1.3.

It has automatically downloaded 9.3 update that

Fails with the same "no longer connected to the Internet"

Message.

I've tried the kill and restart network settings and kill and restart

The settings app. When I go to the

General > usage > and see the storage section it doesn't

Show the downloaded 9.3 update even after hitting the

Show all apps button.

I was able to delete the update from my iPad 2 with 6.1.3

And it downloaded the 8.x.x update that installed ok.

It then downloaded 9.3.2 and installed ok!

She doesn't own any other computer so it has never synced

To iTunes. Any ideas?

Did you find a solution? My iPad seems to have the same options as you, with no way to delete a downloaded update.

I looked under "manage storage" but I don't see the download file listed, only a list of which apps to back up. How else can I find the file?

I Had the same problem with iOS 10. I deleted the downloaded version of iOS 10 and downloaded the revised version of iOS 10.1, then I was able to update my phone.

RAMGarden - My mom's iPad 2has the same issue - I can't see the software update listed in the Storage section. You mentioned that your's didn't show either and then you were able to delete it. How did you delete it if it wasn't showing up on the list?
