Hello jamphan2,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

From your question, I understand that hyperlinks are not behaving as expected after updating to iOS 9.3. We know how frustrating situations like this can be and we want to make sure your devices are working as expected.

iOS 9.3.1 was recently released. Performing this update should resolve this situation.

Found an article in OsXDaily that said many experiencing this and Apple supposedly working on a fix / new software update. Other solution apparently is to do a backup, connect device to computer and work thru iTunes to do a restore. I may go to Apple Store to do this. You can try to revert to prev Os but could lose data and its kind of technical according to the article.

I am also having the issue. Disabling JavaScript and rebooting did not help. The only thing that has made using the Internet useful for me was to download the Chrome browser. I can long press a link to get a pop up of options, one of which is to open the link in a new tab. The same action in safari freezes safari.

At least in chrome I can still do searches and follow links, albeit in a new tab. I can't believe a problem like this got through development. This has crippled my ability to use my iPad.

I have a first generation iPad Air.

Had the same issue and spoke to Apple support (level two supervisor) who confirmed that the issue is known and that they are working on it, I've provided my logs and crash files.

A temporary solution that seems to work for most (not all) users is to deactivate JavaScript

Settings > Safari > Advanced

It worked for me. Links are working again but it comes at the inconvenience that some sites will not render of function in an optimal manner.

Cross fingers that Apple releases 9.3.1 quickly to solve this properly

There seems to be a bug or glitch with safari. Last I knew there was no fix beyond waiting for Apple to fix things. You can use another browser in the meantime and use that as a work around. I use Atomic but you can look for a browser in the app store that looks good to you and use that.

You might try to hold your finger down on the link until you see the 'copy' popup come up then paste that link into the navigation bar of Safari and see if that allows you to follow links.
