Mar 28, 2016 5:56 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,Have you tried closing the videos app and force restart the iPad? No data will be affected.
Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Mar 28, 2016 6:03 PM in response to Demoby Apple Ferd,Yes. I've tried that with no luck...just retried it again to be sure and newer movies still aren't showing up.

Mar 28, 2016 6:06 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,Are the movies in the cloud and maybe not downloaded to the iPad? Try Settings>Videos>Show iTunes Purchases>On.

Mar 28, 2016 6:14 PM in response to Demoby Apple Ferd,They aren't downloaded to the iPad. Only in the cloud. I have all my older movies showing up that are only in the cloud (the older movies even have the cloud symbol in the bottom right corner of the movie artwork in my library), it just takes several days after purchasing to show up. If I do download them, they show up but disappear if I delete them.
I've tried logging out of iCloud, and also turning "show purchases" off then back on. Still nothing. It seemed to be whenever I would charge my iPad at night, the new movie would show up. but that's not the case, I charged last night and a couple movies I purchased over the weekend didn't show up.

Mar 28, 2016 6:28 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,This is strange indeed. Have you tried turning off Wifi or turning on Airplane Mode in order to disconnect from the cloud and then enable the WiFi connection again in order to kick start everything?

Mar 28, 2016 6:47 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,If the movies are in the cloud, it can't be a storage issue, but I don't know what else to try that isn't radical. Check Settings>General>About>Available. See how much storage you have left. Also check Settings>GeneralStorage & iCloud Usage>Storage>Manage Storage and see if anything looks off in there.

Mar 28, 2016 6:53 PM in response to Demoby Apple Ferd,Nothing looks crazy with storage. Have enough storage in iCloud and have 60 gb available on my iPad.

Mar 28, 2016 7:13 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,Do you see the movies in the purchased tab of the iTunes App on the iPad? Where do you purchase the movies, not that it should matter? What happens if you purchase a movie on the iPad itself?
Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm stumped here.

Mar 28, 2016 7:18 PM in response to Demoby Apple Ferd,Yes, they show up under purchases and I typically do buy them on my iPad. When I purchase the movie, it'll ask if I want to download now, I usually select download later.

Mar 28, 2016 7:27 PM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,I Might be missing something very simple, but for the life of me, I don't know what that would be at this point. I am going to mention bobseufert and Skydiver119 in hopes that one or both of them show up to lend a hand. They are very knowledgable and might be able to offer some insight.
I'm sorry, but I have an early morning and have to sign off now. I will check back in the morning.

Mar 30, 2016 5:57 AM in response to Apple Ferdby Demo,I Didn't forget about you and apparently the trail that I left for the other people didn't work when I sent out my bat call. Have you had any success yet?

Mar 30, 2016 6:26 AM in response to Demoby Apple Ferd,The movies have since shown up in my library but I don't think it's because of anything specific I've done. I think it's just them showing up a few days after the purchase like they typically do. I'll be getting a new one early next week and will see then if it comes in right away.
