Group Name on Text Messages went away

Why can't I add a Group Name to Text Messages threads anymore? I was able to do so previously. I know this because within one of my currently ongoing text threads, I found the following statement, "You named the conversation "Troop committee". Mon, Mar 7, 11:30am. The very next statement reads, "You named the conversation "Troop Committee". Mon, Mar 7, 11:31am. Could this inability to name Group Text Messages be related to the updated IOS 9?

I'm sorry, but I was never condescending. You feel it is one thing, I feel it is something else, I was trying to be accommodating. My kindness was genuine, it seems you are the bully here. And do not refer to me as bro, I never disrespected you at any time, and I find that very disrespectful.

No, if you read your post, it was your accusation of me being condescending. I addressed your other reference. I've been here for quite a while and I understand public forums. You decided to attack my attempt at being genuine. I feel more sorry for you if my being accommodating translated to condescending to you.

I agree. Naming text messages is very helpful. I hope they make this change.

The ability to name a group with other non apple phones is invaluable!!!! Android phones can do this and I am frustrated because I just switched to apple and I am not happy.
