How do I get the pdf of the iPad manual?

I tried posting this and a little yellow bird said I am not allowed to post. If there's two of these that's why.

I just got an iPad purchased direct from Apple. A card with it says I can download a pdf of the manual or use the manual via web pages. Apple also offers a "free" introductory on-line session to help set up and answer questions. However, Apple's first "appointment" for the free session is 8 days away. (One sooner but I have commitments) I don't really want to let the iPad sit around as an attractive desktop decoration doing nothing for a week so would like to get started with a manual's help. I can't find Apple's promise of a downloadable/printable manual. The give an address but it takes me to the web page manual. I can not find a link for printing and printing the web gives me only one page at a time. The on-line manuals are confusing. They have lots of blue "see here" type references and after a while I am so deep into the "see here's" that I can't find my way back to page 1. Perhaps a bit of hyperbole but I find them very frustrating.

Is there a pdf of a manual for the iPad? How do I print it

Aloha Serg.

You are correct. It's only on the device itself. I just didn't want people who prefer the PDF look to feel left out. I tried changing the URL of a IOS 6 PDF into a 9.3 but it didn't work. If you and Demo prefer PDFs I'm gonna find a PDF, 🙂

PH refers to product help; these articles are the same as the product's content in the Help Viewer.

HE articles describe navigating Apple's support system itself.

Thanks for the links, ChitlinsCC...especially for the "iBooks Author" app for the Mac. Still, it seems silly that we now need to convert this stuff to PDF to retain compatibility amongst our many devices. PDF "just worked" on everything...😐
