Q: iphone 6 screen freezes frequently

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

• Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
• Press and hold on the Home button
• Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

What is the thing we dont want to know? i have the same problem on my iphone 6, have use it for a year with no prom at all and since 9.2 facing freezing problems, tried all solutions, no fix whatsoever. 

It is the hardware issue - touch screen ic failed. Apple does not admit it is a design flaw.

It is not related to IOS version.

I have the same problem on my iPhone 6. It started immediately after the ios 9.3.1 update.

I have reset my iPhone 6 using iTunes, aaaaaaaaannnnndd.......it still has the same issue.

Where is apple with a patch to resolve this issue for us iPhone 6 users????

At airport going through TSA security check and I need to show my boarding pass on my iphone 6 ios 9.3.1: iPhone Freezes, I cannot get checked in by TSA security until I perform a hard reset 2 times after which the screen becomes responsive. I am waiting in line with an iPhone. Making me feel really smart I have an iphone (no not really).

My son calls me on on my iphone 6 ios 9.3.1 and my iphone freezes and I cannot pick up the call.

I try calling my son back on my on my iphone 6 ios 9.3.1, and my screen is frozen and I cannot call him back.

Am at an event and I want to take take pictures, I ask my friend for her Android phone. Which does not freeze and I can take pictures with.

Apple, where for art though Apple with a fix for us lowly iPhone 6 users. Why hast thou forsaken us???

I am experiencing the same situation, I have already taken my IPhone 6 twice to Apple Service where they restored and updated the firmware since it had several error messages (according to Apple diagnosis, had to deal with the firmware). The situation is annoying.  They say, it may be related to some bug in my celphone in one app, so a left it without restore de back up, it is still the sameI. I relate this behaviour to the last software to a previous update. However I have seen some relation of the situation with the network seetings. if you use it in Plane Mode, you may not experience the situation or internet connection.

Absolutely agree that it is not software but a hardware issue. I believe it to be warping mother boards. I am on my 3rd iPhone 6 in 13 months and the new phone that is only 90 days old is doing the same thing. As with the other phones, the only way to resolve the issue is to apply light pressure to the upper right side of the phone and it will work until the next freeze. Apple is well aware of this issue but silent about it.

Correction: Apply light pressure to the upper LEFT side and it temporarily resolves my issue.

Here in Ireland I am having the same issue.  I have tried the all the different resets, deleted apps etc.

I will try your pressure idea next time.

I have the same exact problem with my 6 Plus.  It is very frustrating.  I have done every type of reset possible.  It still freezes up.  I think it is a software issue.  It worked fine prior to the 9.3.2 update.  APPLE, you need to fix this ASAP.

I am facing the same problem past 4-5 months. Tried restoring my iphone 4-5 times but still the problem persists. Sometimes it is so annoying that I bang my phone on my desk or wall. Why isnt Apple taking this issue seriously and coming up with some solution?

Same problem this is BS for an $ 800 phone
