iPad Pro 9.7 Random Restart

Normally wouldn't think much of this but, I have a 2 day old iPad Pro 9.7 128GB that has restart on me twice so far. In the middle of using it, it will cut to the Apple logo on the black background for a minute before returning to the passcode screen. Oddly enough, it will accept Touch ID in place of a passcode, something it doesn't usually do when it loses power. Any idea on the cause or how to figure it out? I chatted with the tech support but they only help they could provide was to do a restore. I just performed it, but my concern is that I installed an app or enabled something causing the iPad to crash and it'll simply continue to do that due to the bad app.

My random restarts stopped with 10.2 but this ipad has multiple problems. The only things the techs can tell you to do is to factory reset. The problems keep changing. One time it was freezing and now pages in Safari turn white. Apple won't admit that these ipads are defective. They will do nothing except factory resets. How many times do you need to reset the iPad to get it to work for awhile until Apple admits there is a problem..They won't admit any of their products are defective.

This may be unrelated but my old (low screen resolution) Windows laptop has the same problem. It happens when I run graphics rich app or games. The device driver is not compatible with the screen and quite often the screen blanks out, and after 10 seconds comes back to normal. I get a message that says, "The device driver stopped working and is now functioning normally"

LIke I said in a previous post, my iPad Pro 9.7 32GB wifi has not crashed in the last couple of weeks. This is very baffling because some of you are having frequent crashes.

Those of you experiencing frequent crashes, Try changing your safari settings and see if it makes a difference.

Did the 9.3.2 update, and luckily my iPad Pro 9.7 Space Gray 128 WiFi did not brick.

Random reboots occurred twice after the newest update though. Every time when I was using Safari.

So, all hope on the new update passed... If you don't have to update for another reason, then DON'T do it before Apple makes a statement about the new bricking feature.

Just got my 4th IP Pro 9.7 32g wi-fi since the update to 9,3.2 played havoc with Safari. Set it up at the store, but downloaded apps at home. A few hours after finishing it springboarded and also Safari froze. Apple has not acknowledged the problems and many of their employees act clueless. This iPad is running 9.3.1 and it was suggested at the store that I don't update till there is a fix. At this point I don't know how long this will take. There are updates waiting on my IMac and I am afraid to download them.

Hello everyone. As mentioned some days ago I installed a free app callediRefresh Pro: RAM, CPU Usage Real-time & System Information for purging memory once a day. 6 days are passed (and two iOS version) and I haven't had any respring, reboot or else.

So here is the FIRST WORKING [and temporary I hope] SOLUTION:

- installiRefresh Pro: RAM, CPU Usage Real-time & System Information

- set the app to execute memory purge at launch

- launch app once per day

That's all, hopefully waiting for Apple patch.

I was skeptical but desperate...I tried what IPK stated (iRefresh Pro). I close all apps and run iRefresh Pro twice per day (Morning/Evening) and I haven't had an issue in a couple of days. I'll keep doing this and report back like IPK is doing. Hopefully Apple is paying attention and working on this. This is easily the most obnoxious issue I've ever had with Apple, especially right out of the box. You shouldn't have to close apps and run some memory refresh app to make this $1000 PRO device work.
