Add to Safari reading list feature is not working

The add to Safari reading list feature is not working on non-Safari apps (including Apple news app). Any suggestions?

I found the solution.

In my case, I couldn't 'Add to Reading List' from Flipboard or Apple News on iOS9 or 10. It was because 'Do Not Track' was turned on in Safari's settings.

  1. Close Safari > Go to iPhone settings > Safari settings > turn off 'Do Not Track'
  2. Open Safari for changes to take effect > add an article to your Safari reading list from whichever news app you like
  3. OPTIONAL: Go back to iPhone settings > Safari settings > turn ON 'Do Not Track' if you wish to do so.

You can turn 'Do Not Track' back on after step two and still be able to add articles. There is no need to sign out of iCloud, erase iPhone settings or restart the iPhone.

iPhone 6 - reading list from Twitter links was working great.

new iPad Pro purchased this week - did not work

Tried "braceyourself's" suggestions...

NOT ONLY didn't work but now it doesn't work on my phone! **This is so frustrating!
