Syncing Health App w Weight Watchers App issues

Hey there,

so I know weight watcher now can sync data from the health app, I've given it permission to do so. when I try to sync from the ww app it always says "last sync April 5th" but nothing syncs, ww told me to contact Apple. I used to use a Fitbit which is way cheaper than an Apple Watch but the watch isn't working well w my ww app, does anyone know how to fix this issue?

tthanks!

I had this same problem and just discovered a solution!

Problem: My Weight Watchers app stopped syncing with my Apple Health app to track my steps (it had previously tracked my activity). I tried tapping the "sync" option at the bottom of the activity page, as well as refreshing the page by pulling down the page, on the WW app as previously suggested and it did not sync.

Solution: I discovered that my Apple Health app had disconnected from the WW app. To reconnect I opened the Apple Health app, selected the "Sources" option at the bottom of the app (the little heart with an arrow). I selected the WW Mobile option and discovered that the categories had all been turned off. To fix this, I simply selected "Turn all categories on". I then shut down the Apple Health app (double click the home button and slide the app up on the screen) as well as the WW app (close the same way). When I reopened my WW app, my Apple Health activity had synced and now seems to be working properly.

Good luck and happy tracking!

I have this problem as well. When I go and manually click sync, it says last sync date of the date I set it up, even though I've never had it successfully sync.

Also, the app on the watch is showing the little circles where data should be, but it's not populated with any data and clicking on it does nothing. I'm h

I had the same issue. I noticed that the WW Mobile app would not allow me to uninstall Apple Health as a device which was a red flag that something was wrong with the app. So I deleted the WW Mobile app from my iPhone and reinstalled it. The WW app walked me thru the steps to connect to Apple Health. I was able to sync again. I can also delete Apple Health too. Which confirmed my earlier suspicion that something was wrong with the WW Mobile App on my phone.

Hi

Some users elsewhere have reported similar issues with data from the Health app not syncing to the Weight Watchers app:

It may help to close all open apps on your iPhone (double-click the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview) and then restart it.

Otherwise, I suggest that you contact Weight Watchers (the app developer) for further assistance:
