Why ''original media'' has no sound?

Tom, looks like I'm getting somewhere here ! 🙂

I was now able to record (capture) image and sound, switching to Vixia HDV30 on camera (it was there) but either Pro Tools Aggregate on microphone (also work with built-in microphone, but looks like I also record sounds in the room... And if I choose the mic from the Vixia, it stops recording after a second...

But at least, the 2 others now give me sound on the Mac when playing back in QT (where it was recorded). Maybe I should try all other clips captured before with this setting...

Actually, I am not connected to the external audio interface that is set n this Mac (and rarely use it on this machine). So my guess is that Pro Tools Aggregate won't be a problem as long as I use the onboard audio, right ?

I'll keep experimenting and post for more,.

No it does not work... These were captured from within FCP... Any settings I should have checked such as in QT before capturing ?...

I Purchased Lifeflix (not liveflix - as per my other message.... Not to be confonded).... So far, very happy with it. I can, as i wished, capture independently from any app, and (hopefully) use it With any app... Sound and image captured with it now playback correctly in QT.
