I currently use a track joiner for tracks ripped on iTunes. Problem is that the app destroys all relevant information about the tracks, the resulting file is simply named "output" and has no identifiers whatsoever. Can anyone recommend a joiner which is easy to use and which preserves all or most of original tracks' information? Thanks for all help

I'm afraid I don't have any particular recommendation for this task. If you have the CDs you can join the tracks as you rip to ALAC, otherwise a web search turns up a number of possible tools but none of them screamed value for money at me.

Hi, is there a program to rip CD's to bitrates greater than 320 kbps? Obviously iTunes cannot. Thanks for any input.
iTunes can - select Edit > Preferences > General, click on Import Settings and select Apple Lossless.
Sorry, I phrased my question incorrectly. I'm looking for an application to rip CD's to AAC format at bitrates over 320. Is there such a thing? Thanks
The only one I'm aware of is Nero's implementation of AAC, which can be configured to support up to 400kpbs. I'm not sure that the results will be perceptibly different from 320kbps. If you want better quality than standard AAC/MP3 lossy audio you really are best advised to use a lossless format like ALAC.
