Numbers files disappeared

All of my numbers spreadsheets have disappeared on my ipad, iphone and iCloud. I have many very important documents and they are all gone.

I tried all of the steps listed in troubleshooting guide and they did not help. There was no selection available in settings to turn on iCloud (instructions said to Tap Settings, then Numbers, then turn on iCloud). All I see is a blank screen after I select Settings, Numbers. I tried deleting and reinstalling Numbers but still no files can be found.

When I select settings, iCloud I see there are 26.3 gb of storage available. When I select settings, iCloud, iCloud Drive (on), I see that iCloud Drive is on and so is Numbers.

PLEASE HELP--I must find my missing spreadsheets.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1, ALSO iPad (4th gen) ios 9.3.1

Everything iOS is at 9.3.1, correct?

When you first sign into iCloud.com, underneath your screen name in the upper-right is iCloud Settings. In the lower-left corner of the iCloud Settings screen, is the Advanced category. Click on Restore Files. Apple maintains a 30-day sliding window that allows you to undelete files. See if your missing Numbers documents are in there.

I have the same problem. I didn't delete the spreadsheets manualy and i can't find them in the restored documents. Did you get any response from the engineering team?

I hav the same problem but mine is totally gone. I can't even see any of my Numbers files neither in my iPhone nor iCloud.

Tried your method but still show 0 files in my Numbers. Really sweat!

Soe files recovered, but not the data heavy ones with all the 2018 tax info for business and personal. Data was input over the past year. Disaster.
