ipad pro 9.7 update 9.3.2 issue

Today when I tried to update my IPad with the 9.3.2 update over wifi, after downloading the update and the install started like usual. Upon rebooting, I get the Connect to iTunes screen. I connect my iPad to iTunes and try to update it, says update failed and that I need to do a restore. The restore fails (error code 56). I tried all of the fixes from the help page with no luck. Any suggestions or do I need to send off my iPad for repair?

Thanks

iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.2

Just an update from me for anyone - I called Apple on May 20, went through the whole problem, etc. and they overnighted a replacement to me. I returned the original iPad. This past week, once my original iPad Pro had been returned and processed by them, I called back and talked to the same customer service person I had spoken with originally. I found out that my original iPad would NOT be returned (which means I lost a really cool Zagg glass screen protector), and that the replacement iPad I had been sent was now the one listed on my Apple Care. So if you're waiting for a fix, I would recommend go ahead and exchange the bricked iPad. It should still be under warranty since the 9.7" pro's are so new.

I think at this point, you need to take the initiative and reach out to Apple about your problem. Enough people have done so that they are probably assuming anyone who has a problem has done so. Apple hasn't initiated anything on this problem and it's been a couple of weeks - so I wouldn't expect that they are going to initiate anything. I was told my original iPad would NOT be returned to me - my AppleCare package has been transferred to the serial # of the replacement iPad they sent me. So I don't think sitting on the issue and not getting your iPad replaced will benefit you in the long run. Just my two cents' worth.
