How to reset music plays in the new itunes update

In the meantime there is a workaround with my script LastPlayedNever.

Say what! That is NOT OK.

Everytime I get new music, I move on and listen to other new tracks, and my 25 most played won't update like it's suppose to.

oscardaone....I get it. I'm really surprised more folks aren't upset about this. I was a heavy user of the "Reset Plays" option. I sent Tim Cook an email regarding this issue, not that he'll ever see it or respond. In the meantime, I'll try the script TuringTest2 developed.

I just spoke to Apple Care also. Reset Plays has been removed! She said they're aware people are upset about that and may bring it back in the next update. I hate to sound like a conspiracy nut, but lately it seems that they're purposely getting rid of the stuff that made it easy to manage large music libraries to push people to streaming. That one is actually vbScript for Windows, but I wrote one in AppleScript for Mac too: Re: How to reset play count in iTunes 12.4?

Enable the playlists sidebar and you should be able to drag and drop the tracks onto the Purchased playlist.

Dragging and dropping isn't going to work for me, I need to do this using only the keyboard.

Yes, that works, but is no use if you want to reset 2 or 200 playcounts at the same time.
