After upgrading to IOS 9.3.2 my display freezes

After upgrading my 6+ to IOS 9.3.2 my display freezes and is not responsive. Applications running continue to run, but I can't interact with them. If I come back to the phone later the problem is gone, but I don't know how long it took. Then the issue comes back. Even after doing a factory reset, with no apps running, my display will freeze.

When you say factory reset, did your restore as new or from backup?

If you restore as new and the issue still persist, I would schedule an appointment with the genius bar and take your phone to Apple and have it looked at.

I'm having the same problem with my iphone 6 after installing 9.3.2 software update. This is the second day in a row, I took my iphone 6 into the Store the assistant today was not remotely helpful. He stated that my screen needed to be replaced but he did not run any test. I insisted that he run a screen diagnostics and the results were that the screen was functioning properly no issues. I explained to the assistant that I believe it's the software that is corrupt due to, the 1st time (the day prior) I brought my iphone in the software was corrupted. He went off on a tangent and wanted me to upgrade to a new iphone.

I still have the problem and must press the power button and the home button, for the software to reboot in order for my screen to be responsive. However, once the screen locks or the iphone is idle for several minutes the problem reappear.

I'm not convinced that the assistant was looking for the root cause and ownership of the issue, he was a salesmen.

I was also experiencing issues with my iPhone 6 Plus freezing after updating to iOS 9.3.2. I decided to do a clean restore from no backup. The issue still persisted. I had no choice but to downgrade to iOS 9.3.1. My iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air 2 are both running fine now with no issues. This is the first time in my life I've had to downgrade iOS. I hope Apple fixes the freezing issue with iOS 9.3.3.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and the exact same problem. If a do a reset the phone will work for a while and then become unresponsive again. Also If I just let the phone be for a while it will become responsive. A very sporadic behaviour! My problems started when I upgraded to 9.3.2 so I think this is a software bug and not hardware related. I hope there will be a solution soon. At work I have a Iphone 6s and I'm not experiencing any problems with that one so it seems that the problem is related to specific devices/configurations as well.

I upgrade my iPhone5 to iOS 9.3.2 and now having intermittent problem with the phone powering on in what looks like a maximum zoom with the full width of the display showing the service provider signal strength (so large that no icons or other part of the normal home screen are visible). This has happen 4 times. Each time my only option has been a forced reboot (hold Start button + Power button). This threat seems to be the closest in describing my problem. Before I submit Feedback to Apple, I wanted to see I am giving an adequate description of the problem and to see if others using 9.3.2 are having similar problem.

Hi,

I have the ditto same issue since I upgraded the iOS to 9.3.2. The screen freezes and apps go crazy like as if they are being remote managed. Everything becomes normal, for a very short while, once the phone is set to standby and back i.e. switching off / on the screen using the power button.

Hard reboot or wiping the phone and setting it up again as a new iPhone doesn't help. At all.

Its reached a point where its next to impossible to use the phone!
