The Activation Lock on my iPad mini was engaged even though I did not prompt it using Where's My Device. Has someone hacked my account?
How do you know this? I would like to read more about it. To the OPs, fwiw, I do not have a yahoo email associated with my apple ID either.
Hi. Just a glitch, as far as I know. The process you describe is normal. The problem with the password is not.

This just happened on my iPad 2... and I did not prompt it, but I have a hunch.
