    Hello Cesarion,

I know how important getting your music back on your iPhone is to you!

I would start with making sure both Apple Music and iCloud Music Library are turned on in Settings > Music, as both of those are needed to see all your music, not just Apple Music. Here is more info about how Apple Music and iCloud Music Library work.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

    Hey stuckboss,

THank you for your response. I did what you said and apparently it was going to work because when I entered Apple music app earlier today it said "Loading your music library" but didn't do nothing and after 5 minutes it said "It has not been possible to load your library, please go to settings and turn on iCloud Music Library"....I did it like 5 times and never worked, so I didn't try it anymore. BUT!!!!!!! While I was replying to your answer I decided to look one more time and IT WORKED!!!!!!!! All my songs, playlist and offline music is there!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jajajajajajajaja I'm complete again! Thank you so much for your help!!!!

    Un abrazo!!

    Hi stuckboss,

I have experienced a similar problem as Cesarion. I have no idea what caused it. I had Apple Music and iCloud Music Library turned on. On Monday night I was listening to music on my AppleTV. I added Rihanna's Sledgehammer and Fall Out Boy's Ghostbusters to My Music. On Tuesday I listened to a TWiT podcast on my iPhone 6. Then I went to listen to these 2 songs and I found a completely empty Music Library. I was very confused. I decided to listen to an audiobook in iBooks and found that it too was completely empty.

My phone had several gigs of music downloaded from my iCloud Music Library. There were some songs from Apple Music. However, there were very few songs I add to my iPhone from Apple Music. I usually just stream Apple Music.

When I got back home and reconnected to WiFi I turned off and then on the iCloud Music Library setting. When prompted to Merge or Replace I selected to Replace the library on my iPhone. I went back over to Music and it stated "Loading Library". Just like Cesarion it stopped with an error message that it was not possible to load my iCloud Library. I repeated this process several times with the same outcome everytime. I power cycled the iPhone and encountered the same outcome. I connected the iPhone to a power source and encountered the same outcome.

How do I reset the music library on the iPhone? I want my music back.

    Thank you,

    Charles

According to iTunes the music and audiobooks are still on the iPhone (iTunes / iPhone / On My Device). Although, some of the songs have the icon indicating that they are still getting uploaded to the iPhone. There are 12 audiobooks on the iPhone. None of this content is accessible or viewable from the iPhone Music or iBooks apps. Even under General / About there are 0 Songs.

    This is very strange.

More importantly how do I restore the library and access the content that is on this iPhone?

I don't use Apple music so turning it on is useless. All my music was downloaded directly to my phone so I don't have to use wifi or data! This is the same reason I don't use cloud music. Also the BIG question is WHY is my music getting deleted? It;s great that a solution is offered to fix the problem but now please offer  an explanation as to what is causing this to happen. It is not the first time this has happened either. This is very frustrating.
