Safari is telling us to contact Apple Tech Support immediately when opening safari?

When opening safari on our iPad, the url in the search bar is click-safari.com, and after a few seconds of loading, an email draft will pop up saying that we must contact Apple Tech Support (1-844-313-85**) immediately. Is this some sort of virus? Should we contact this number? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a scam. Don't contact anyone in any way.

Quit Safari, then relaunch it while holding down the Shift key.
