How do I block spam calendar invitation emails?

I am receiving the ray ban sale invites too. DAILY!!!

*** is Apple going to do about this? It is a virus I believe and there is no way to block a sender who send you an invite, which is insane!

I have had the same issue, i simply turned off the calendar slide button on the email used by the spammer to send me the invite, which removed, without confirming my email. all the unwanted invites i had been sent, there were several.... and were accompanied by an audible alert at 4:30 in the morning..... SOAB.

when you turn it back on.... all the emails return..

would be nice to just block the spammer apple!!!!

These are calendar invites sent directly to the calendar, not to email.

As far as I am concerned, requests are sent automatically to calendar. I tried your method but doesn't change anything. Only way was to delete my calendar with all my other stuffs in it ...

dear APPLE : is IT that difficult for you to solve this via a small iOS update ? It is unbelievable that you company with your reputation just missed this feature (or was it done on purpose ?). I have 5 iOS devices at home and have the same issue with all of them and only on iCloud calendar.

I can't believe this is happening honestly. I have about 2 spam invites a day and I too declined the first one because I didn't know any better and now my calendar is flooded! I've tried blocking the contacts and that doesn't work because you can't just block emails. I have no idea what to do! Apple, please work on this and get it together!

To not have these junk invites cluttering up your calendar create a new calendar, move the items to that calendar and then turn off its visibility.

Check Navy165 reply. It works. Create new calendar-drag and drop the "appointment" to this new calendar-uncheck the new calendar (to make sure it was moved -appointment will disappear-), delete the calendar. [a warning will pop asking you if you want to "Delete without notifying" or "Delete and Notify" -of course, you should choose "without notifying"!]

DONE.

The advice re blocking and removing by creating a new calendar (below) are excellent. I spoke to apple care today who are very aware of the issue and have a team working on it. I was put straight through to the specialist team and they need all the info they can, so do let them know.

To remove the event without having to send a response (either maybe, accept or decline) which would reveal information to the spammer (i.e. this is a valid account to target for spam), I deleted the entire calendar and all its events. Luckily for me, I received a spam invitation to an unused calendar so this wasn't a problem for me.

I did not reply to the previous spam, I've deleted the whole calendar and re-added it, despite that I've got another spam invite. It only happens with iCloud email, gmail is fine. Invitation came from:

Navy165's solution doesn't work for me, I can't move the invite to another calendar as only the organizer can make changes. This could potentially have an extremely detrimental effect on my life if this continues or gets out of control as I handle multiple diaries for multiple people. APPLE, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

This iCloud setting suggestion sounds like a good option. But I cannot see an 'Invitation' option anywhere in 'Advanced'. All I see is as attached. Can you possibly offer any further help, please?

Stupidly, I 'declined' the invitation. I went ahead and called apple support. The woman I talked to at apple support reassured me that I did nothing wrong by declining the invitation. But as a caution she told me to change my apple ID password. She told me I was the first to call her with this issue, and let me know that as long as I hadn't given the phishers and information (any PII) that I was ok...
