How can I just delete my profile for Apple Communities?

Since my problem with ereased mails has occurred again and I don't expect any solution or explanation any more, I simply want my profile to be irrevocably deleted from the apple community. A failure to do so is against my will.

I would also like to refer to the new EU regulation on this matter which is to enter into force as from May 2018.

REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL

of 27 April 2016

on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)

How about having less felonies committed? Will that reduce the population?

No, it has never been a fun place. And I certainly wouldn't want to work there. But probation decisions are made at the court level and prison overcrowding is usually not factored into the decision. Not all felony convictions merit incarceration. And I can't find anything that says felony probation rates have increased. But felony level property crimes have dropped.

I think we are getting too political and therefore missing the point even I find this discussion very interesting. For my issue It leads to nowhere. I would like to recall my first question, how to delete my apple profile from the community site. I find it very important since:

  1. According to Apple Website Terms of Use "You may be held liable for losses incurred by Apple or any other user of or visitor to the Site due to someone else using your Apple ID, password or account as a result of your failing to keep your account information secure and confidential". If there is a misuse of my Apple ID I'm held responsible, no matter whether I'm to blame for the misuse or not (it could happen even if I keep my account information confidential). Therefore I think it's not fair
  2. I'm conviced that the identity of every user can be known by Apple otherwise all the legal terms are useless
  3. I simply like to get the safe way. Even my unactivity doesn't prevent me for legal actions in case of a misuse of my profile by somebody
  4. As long as my profile is registered, I'm bound to all terms and regs by Apple and their modifications: "Apple reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes"
  5. Last but not least I think is should be a part of our civil rights to grant every citizen the ownership about his personal data and their use with exception of the public offices

Among the settings and information, you can choose to edit or remove

from a ASC user profile. You can also stop using it after significant edits.

An AppleID account, products, services, & associated information is

not necessarily part of ASC; if these bother you, stop using them.

Any data you happen to leave anywhere online by use of any service, will

show all your access; an 'intent' may be determined in choices so recorded.

So that should make people think twice because there is no privacy online.

And now there are so many 'social media' outlets associated with business,

those may also require some online interaction as part of the job; you have

to give up plenty of privacy to use most of those modern conveniences.

A disposable cellular phone with rechargeable minutes, a solar battery charger;

that may be all you require to be off-grid. + Use the post office, & write letters. 😝

1. Your logic is a bit flawed here, you just quoted the section and the final part is, "as a result of your failing to keep your account information secure and confidential" and then you say "no matter whether I'm to blame." That doesn't make sense, the part you quoted already states that you are responsible if you are to blame. That is fair.

2. Of course it can or they wouldn't let you post any of this.

3. The safest way would have been for you to read all the Terms of Use and cancelled since you didn't like it and thought it was unfair. But instead you agreed to it so you could post here. And once again here you poor logic finishes item 3 as you are only responsible for misuse if you fail to keep your account information safe.

4. Yes, that is correct. But if you stop using it altogether, and you've kept your Apple ID and password secure, there is no issue.

5. I can't speak for wherever you live but in the US there is no actual "right to privacy". As has already been stated here if you want everything about you to be private then you need to live off the grid using only cash and no public utilities.

1. If it as you write, I would agree with you. What if there is a misuse of my profile even though I kept it secured, for example because a hacker gained acces to the Apple server? Who shall be responsible? I should remember the hacker attacs on:

  1. JP Morgan
  2. Power companies
  3. Estonia
  4. SONY

to name some.

2. OK

3. Not agreeing to the terms of use means that you can't use the Apple devices properly because you are prevented from using the Apple services for updating the OS, downloading apps etc. You are writing that I didn't read all terms of use and I had only to reject the conditions and avoid using this site. It is not as simple as it seems. The most "smart" mobile phones rely on the internet. The most companies selling the smart phones (at least the leading companies) have regulations. The best way today, is not to avoid using services you'll need but helping to find a suitable solution for honest people by describing what you experience.

4. Hopefully you are right. I'll be keeping all my access data (and useless to say, not only for Apple sites) secure.

5. The world is changing whether you like or not and the services provided by internet are replacing more and more those by human beeing, so I thing there is no really choice, we have to go with the "progress" and use the internet. By the way, I'm living in Germany where the points of view about the privacy are very differently from yours . I'm wondering if we can get closer together in the future. In the past I had a lot of fun spending three months in Texas. I really enjoyed. It has been at the time of George W. Bush beeing the Governor of Texas.
