Create CSV file from text edit file

I'm trying to convert a list of images to a CSV file so I can import it into a website. But the website importer doesn't recognize the output of text edit as CSV. I am saving it as a simple text file. When I create some dummy data in a spread sheet and export it as CSV it looks exactly the same when I open in text edit but it imports perfectly.

Any ideas?
