Watch face separated from my watch after 13 months. The widespread yet underreported issue is due to a swollen battery. Apple has actually extended the warranty on these watches to 3 years.

Strangely, all of the questions asked by people with this issue in the support forum are locked. Each has the same reply by the same user Jonathan UK a level 10 (apple employee?)

His reply states, "Apple Watch is not user-serviceable and Apple does not offer a screen repair or screen replacement service for Apple Watch. If the issue is not covered under warranty or any other Apple policy (be sure to ask, with specific reference to potential battery issues), then your Apple Watch may instead be eligible for replacement via chargeable, out-of-warranty service (or via AppleCare+, if previously purchased)."

Is this really helping people who have a legitimate COVERED issue?
