I plugged a fan into my lightning port and now my phone won't charge

I Plugged a seemingly innocent fan into my iPhone six lightning port, and now my phone will not take a charge? Do I need a new phone or is it repairable?

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM), iOS 6.1.3

The entire phone needs to be replaced. Apple does not do component level repairs with the exception of the display.
