Artist Artwork is missing in iTunes 12.5

The magic is gone...

ITunes updated today to 12.5.3.

Has anyone here tested it?

My iTunes autoupdated to 12.5.3. I restarted iTunes, but 100% of my artist artwork is still MIA.

There is definitely an improvement after last update, at least half of the artists do have an artwork in the library now compared to 5 prior. At first nothing changed after update but after i cleared iTunes cache & restarted Mac artwork showed up. Oddly enough there is still some artwork still missing with MacOS while iOS do show artist artwork, like Marc Anthony. However I did check iTunes store for artists artwork and lots don't have any.

Would be nice to have an option to enable or disable artist artwork to show. Just like Contacts list with alphabet will do. At least it remove that ugly Mic placement.

I also updated to the latest version, on the assumption that the only way it could be any worse was if every #microphoneofdeath now displayed a photo of Celine Dion.

I would say I now have twice the artist photos I had before.

Many of the photos are too small and/or too generic to identify the artist, but I'm hoping that with daily use I might at least come to identify some of the color schemes.

Having said that, the option to use album covers should never have been removed.

I left mine at 12.4.3 and never looked back.

Me too. But it's strange that everything is hunky dory on the Apple TV, both 3 and 4 with the latest TVOS.

I use iTunes 12.5.3, and it is perfect, everything as it has always been, strange.

Tried to respond but the Apple " thought control" police keep removing all my truthful comments because they are not deemed Apple correct. Apparently all things Apple must be in a positive light on this forum. So much for the truth right Apple? *******

I think Apple may have enough money simply to buy Poland and send everyone to summer camp. On a nice, with campfire singalongs and s'mores.

Can't they buy Switzerland instead, I like Switzerland more than Poland. 🙂

That might have an effect of Switzerland's famous neutrality. And, it's already like a well run summer camp (skiing camp).
