Artist Artwork is missing in iTunes 12.5

Well, if you like the ugly pink microphone rather than the artist artwork, then go ahead.

I don't have pink microphones, I have artist artwork for all songs, always have.

And you don't get to tell which thread to be in unless you are a moderator, which you clearly are not.

You'll find I was one of the first commenters on this topic when it happened, because like all good iSheep, I had auto update enabled, and thus a sea of pink microphones of death. Thank you for your advice about my not being in this thread though, clearly it was well thought out/researched.

Have you not updated? Would it be correct then that I should restore my iPhone to a previous version of IOS10 to rid myself of this latest Apple annoyance?Thanks in advance.

I have updated (as I said in my post I am using 12.5.3 version of iTunes and IOS 10.1.1) both are current versions.

And you can not restore to a previous version of IOS.

Well you've been luckier than many judging by this thread, in terms of your artist art work being intact. Yes, I just discovered about the 'restore' function that doesn't function. It would be too bad if the phone otherwise had stopped working and I wanted to restore it. #applefail

I have iTunes 12.5.3.17 and iOS 10.1.1

The iTunes on my Mac has Artist Artwork for all artists that have artwork on their store page. Which is a great many of them. Artists without artist art in iTunes store still just show pink Microphones.

And as for this thread, it should probably be locked by moderators as it has gotten out of hand. Pretty much, if you are not posting the following: "I got artist artwork to work completely like this..." then don't bother posting. Nothing more can be said on the subject. The horse is dead. Stop beating it.

I fail to see the benefits for anyone in the thread, or indeed the forum, in insulting users or referring to them as 'trolls'. The horse isn't dead, because people are still experiencing the issue, and issues or questions arising from it, such as the one I posted an hour or so ago in regards iTunes no longer being prepared to even acknowledge my phone, which is related in part because I have not 'updated' because of the main topic of the thread, being the complete failure on the part of Apple to listen to it's customers, or more specifically to 'update' something that has caused obviously a large amount of grief for it's customer base. Resorting to insults is a completely pointless activity, we are all here to try to resolve issues, get answers or to provide them, this isn't facebook or other social media platforms, if you wish to insult fellow users when why not go insult them in a place that invites such activity.

And yet you resort to that very thing, that you delete it does not change the fact that you did it. Thats what notifications are for. All of the insults in this thread are gratuitous, of no value to anyone, with or without the problem.

I don't recollect that I insulted a user in this thread, or indeed the forum? I may hurl insult at Apple, because frankly as a company I think they are earning them, but I don't remember insulting actual users, feel free to share where I did during this discourse?
