Any way to delete the "places" photo album?

I really don't like the new photo albums that came along with iOS 10 (places and people) is there any way to delete these albums entirely? Or at least remove the items already in these folders?

Also while I'm here.. I used to have my safari history set to "do not track" and it worked, ever since the update it still says do not track but now shows my browsing history, ugh.

Please help!

while it is not possible to delete the Places Album, you CAN open the Places Album and tap the location arrow in the lower left corner so it goes away and no longer tracks locations.
