When I was on iOS 10.1 I had no problems with retaining wifi connections and joining a known network. After upgrading to 10.2. I have "reset network settings" at least once every day. Otherwise I have to authenticate to the known SSID and I am cycled in failed authentication. There are times the Authentication works but more often if it fails once it will fail repeatedly until I "reset network setting"

This is not a hardware issue, just poorly written software with possible sticky bit that does not disconnect/reconnect cleanly.

My iPad Air 2 is experiencing the same issue. Before I installed iOS 10.2, my iPad never disconnected from wifi when I was in the living room (several rooms removed from the wifi router). Now, it randomly disconnects from wifi and I have to walk back to the router, turn wifi off then on, and it reconnects. This has been very frustrating since the only thing that has changed is the iOS software.

This doesn't happen with my iPhone 6 (not yet, anyway) also running iOS 10.2, but I AM experiencing the battery issue. The percentage will get down to 30% and then the phone will go dead. So I bought a $99 battery case from Apple and the phone has remained charged all day. But that was a high price to pay for a software glitch.
