Wifi dropping out after iOS 10

The ipad works (albeit with a weaker signal strength than other devices) within about 5-10 feet of the router. This inability to connect elsewhere in the house is new, and limited to tje ipad.

As of 11/5/17, iPhone SE still dropping WiFi.

Have you tried in the Settings App under General, Reset, Reset All Settings.

See if that helps.
