After Updating to iOS 10, contacts have disappeared

Hi, I have the same issue, when we restart the iphone, all things work well, but when we use the phone for a while, that problem happens, most of my contact couldn't be searched, even I try to scroll it and my contact manually, it couldn't be found. I have tried all solution shared, and it's still happened.

but when i entered number of someone in full (like we want to make a new phone call to unregistered number), then the name appeared in dial number.

my assumption : there's something wrong with sync contact or bug in contact which maybe hide some contact.

please Apple do upgrade IOS ASAP to solve this.

Same issue, since ios10, my contacts randomly come and go. It's most noticeable with texting where I'll get texts from people I know, but only their number shows. Oddly their initials still show to the left of their number in the list of text messages though.

But unfortunately still not working every time should I restart my iPhone even I update it for latest iOS 10.0.3 I'm using iPhone 7 Plus and same on SE 10.0.2 always should I restart iPhone I wish Apple fix this bug or issue in future update

hi, when you update to 10.0.3? I check on my iPhone 6s plus, there isn't any update. I am still using 10.0.2.

Is there any comment from apple internal??

iOS 10.0.3 only for iPhone 7, 7 plus till now

Apple didn't release this update for previous iPhone yet wait for update there is no issue from your side

I have the problem with all ios 10 update 10.0.0.3, 10.0.0.2, 10.0.0.1

I cant find my contacts using contact app or spotlight search.

using whatsaap I can search trough whatsaap contacts section in the app and make call using whatsaap call.

all my contacts are there but using the contact app of iPhone naaaaaa not working or even using spotlight

any fix?

"look for your contacts app - launch it - look at your top left for Group(if you have sync contact from icloud and emails) - check to see if hide all contacts was selected - look for icloud contacts and email if it was enabled."

yeah i did that but is still not working

Even updating to iOS 10.1 still can't found my contacts in search everything check all names show for me but when I try to search for contact name there's no result!

i have same result! everytime i am searching contacts

10.1 update same result

maybe they dont care about it cause so many update and they dont come up with anything

bad support!

when step you will find your contact number you are searching for slide to right from your search bar write your contact name will show the number you're searching for in all Application (contact's,WhatsApp, iMessage ...etc)
