Random loading icon black screen after iOS 10

I tried the below 3 together and i don't know which 1 actually worked.

1.I changed the date to 1 week back

2.Turned of notifications for the apps

3.I also uninstalled Outlook.

Something out of the above 3 fixed my issue.

got in touch with staff on the customer support chats and was told to take off notifications on my apps until the issue stopped, and then they could help update my phone so the issue doesn’t happen anymore (however my phone then proceeded to do it again and therefore I was kicked out of the chat) but I would definitely recommend getting in touch with them directly if you’re having issues with it, or just turn off your notifications until it stops and deal with it)

I have this problem too, setting the clock back to 30th November 2017 seems to have fixed it for me for the time being.

What is happening to Apple? I wish Steve Jobs was still here!

I had the same loading issue yesterday(5-12-2017). + my clocks app(alarm) stopped working( real nummer, was ready to go to sleep). Reboot didn't work. Setting the time a week back fixed the problem.

Go to settings, general, reset, reset all settings. Works like a charm!

Try resetting your iPhone ...By resetting I mean general resetting and hope everything is good after startup!

i tried changing my time zone from Dec 6 back to Dec 2 and respring stopped.

Currently downloading the latest iOS 11.2 and hope this will fix the issue. 😟

Hey lucas150, thanks for the great reply! I’ve been having the same issue this morning and changing my Date & Time setting and disabling Headspace notifications helped to stop the issue. However is really annoying not being able to use my clock properly. I’ll keep following this thread for new updates. Thanks again!

I had this problem starting around Dec 1 and read carefully the reply from Lucas. This morning I took advantage of the software update and - although Lucas said it did not necessarily work, it has worked for me and ipad is back to normal

Same here, I woke up this morning and my phone is putting this icon black loading screen every 1 min of utilization.

It is almost unusable. Running on iPhone 7, iOS 11.1.2.

Outlook App was installed, but even after uninstallation and reboot, same issue.

I am also having this problem all of a sudden when I got up this morning. My phone was charging over night and the vibrating was waking me up - I have realised it was when it started crashing and then prompting for the pass code. Looks like lots of people are in the same boat. What is going on?

My phone was perfectly fine. I put my phone on charge and slept. Woke up this morning and my phone continuously turns off - with a black buffering screen - happens every 1-2 minutes.

Thanks for the information. I hope I can fix it without playing with the date, as wouldn't that foul up all my Activity badges and streaks? At any rate, this is one of the best collections of tips and information I have seen.

i am using iphone7 and this happens to me every 30 seconds or so. locking the phone, changing auto-lock setting, setting the location setting, changing the clock, reset all settings, restarting the phone, re-installing all apps does not help. The problem still exists and is very infuriating as it exits the application i was working on. kindly provide a fix for this issue or atlas provide a date when it will be fixed.

I woke up this morning and the phone started doing this, didn't do anything last night.

Don't have outlook app, and it happens every 2 mins, the phone is not usable anymore......

Need help!
