Is there a bug in shuffle songs? iOS 10.0.1

Love that I can delete (remove) the next song in shuffle mode, but the songs i delete seem to reappear after a song or two have been played. The first one i remove is skipped, but suddenly songs I know I removed are played.

Is there a setting I have overlooked, or is this a bug others experience as well?

I want to play an album in song sequence and it shuffles the songs instead. Sorry Apple, life is NOT random. Chaotic, but not random. Pressing the Shuffle All 'icon' has no effect and there seems to be no way to get an album to play sequentially. Also, pressing shuffle all skips immediately and non-sequentially to another song. It should let the current song finish IMHO. Also there is no indication if this mode is active or not. The shuffle icon isn't highlighted or changed in any way. Also I noticed this album has two duplicated songs. This is all on my iPhone 6s.

On my iPad Air, this album does not have duplicates, and while the shuffle icon also had no indication whether the mode is active or not, I can at least play the slbum in song order through a bit of trial and error icon pressing.

Errors seem to be more and more prevalent with Apple software these days.

I'm running iOS 10.0.2 on an iPhone 6S. Shuffle is not working for me at all, either. When I tap "Shuffle All," a grey bar appears for a second, but then disappears, so there is no visual indication that the function is on (or off for that matter). Sometimes the song I'm playing repeats; sometimes it changes to another song. But it never plays songs in the order that they appear in the playlist. Have done all the things - turning the phone on and off, etc. - but still doesn't work.

I actually don't think the bug is solely related to re-adding the songs that have been removed from the "up next" queue. Rather, I think the bug is, when playing music on shuffle, after every song that completely plays through, Apple Music reshuffles the entire "up next" queue. This causes 2 primary issues that have been discussed in this thread.

1. Songs often get repeated after recently being played because the order has been reshuffled and previously played songs reappear as up next.

2. Songs that have been removed from up next get added back to the up next list once the entire queue gets reshuffled after a completed song.

These issues are very annoying but far less intrusive than my Google Play Music issue of 500+ songs not appearing in my thumbs-up playlist. Regardless, hopefully Apple can get this squared away when they release 10.2. I hear they are also bringing back the star rating system (this was posted by a Beta user 🙂 ).
