Ive just attempted to restore my iPhone as it was in DFU mode and now I get the error
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. The value is missing."
and the phone is stuck on the apple logo.
Any ideas
Hold down the power and the home button until the phone reboots to show the itunes logo.
Uninstall itunes, uninstall apple mobile device support. Reinstall iTunes and plug the phone back in to update once more.
Did you try just the update or a restore to factory settings?
My friends daughter had forgotten her password so I put it into DFU mode then tried the restore, which included the update.

Hey, I am having the same issue. Do you have any advice? Were you able to fix the iPhone?
I have iTunes updated to 12.7, and I don't want to waste money on a refurbished phone when the iPhone X is coming out next month lol

I didn't know that the iTunes logo would come up if I just continued to hold the buttons past the apple logo.
