Ive just attempted to restore my iPhone as it was in DFU mode and now I get the error
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. The value is missing."
and the phone is stuck on the apple logo.
Any ideas
Hold down the power and the home button until the phone reboots to show the itunes logo.
Uninstall itunes, uninstall apple mobile device support. Reinstall iTunes and plug the phone back in to update once more.
Dude. I totally smashed my iPhone and needed to reset it so that I can send it back to the insurance company. What I could see on the screen is that it was in lock mode and was counting down. I held the home and lock buttons down for about 20 sec or so and iTunes finally recognized it. This was the most help in the tread. Cheers!
