Iphone 7 and 7 plus's screen dimmer/yellowish than iphone 6 and 5s

Hi,

Is anyone facing the same issue as me when looking at their new iphone 7/7plus?

I noticed both the 7 model's screen resolution were more yellowish and dimmer than the previous models even though all of them had their brightness set to the maximum.

Does anyone have any idea why is it like that? Thanks!

I have contacted Apple since Saturday, November 26 and have spoken to various tech support and two Senior Analysts.

The first Senior Analyst asked me to send photos of my iPhone side by side with another iPhone and the second one recommended me to have my display replaced. I have cleared out to both of them that what I honestly want at this moment is to have my iPhone 7 Plus replaced.

Could this be a carrier issue, ie: Verizon, AT&T, T Mobile etc? From what I understand different vendors build these phones and it could be a manufacturing issue with a particular carrier. For what it's worth, I just bought a new iPhone 7 from Verizon and I am having the yellow/dimmer screen effect. A friend of mine has Sprint and his 7 plus looks fine.

I don't know if carriers themselves are involved, but there are a few different model numbers. For example, here in Japan only they have a special model which finally includes the Felica chip so you can use your iPhone to on trains, subways, buses, etc.

I suspect there are probably large batches of phones with this problem and Apple isn't admitting it yet. I haven't been able to get any info out of them. I think if they don't respond by Monday I'll to the consumer affairs agency next.
