iPhone 7 missing new wallpapers

I have an answer, iPhone 7 comes with the same old s#!t. I'm really thinking about returning my 7, it has 2 cameras and no home button, it's brighter & videos are more HD...........that's about it, I'm very disappointed that the iPhone 7 didn't come with new wallpapers. I swear I feel like I have the iPhone 6s still, talk about false advertisement.

I have the same issue as teezer and I actually do have a MacBook with iTunes and I followed all of your steps. I reset all the settings, and then used iTunes to do a complete restore to restore all the factory settings.

I set up my iPhone 7 plus as a NEW iPhone, rather than restoring it from a backup. This however did not allow me to see any other Wallpapers. I assume what teezer was referring to was the cool color liquid blobs that looked like cool new Live Wallpapers. You know, the one on the box. Even with a complete factory reset, and NOT using an old back up, the wallpapers are completely missing.

I guess the new iPhones do not come with any new wallpapers, which is kind of a let down.

sterling r, do you have a new iPhone? Can you see the cool liquid wallpapers? If so, please let me know what teezer and I have to do to get these wallpapers. I always look forward to new wallpapers from Apple, and this quite the disappointment.

(NOTE: I was part of the Public Beta program, so I was testing the newest public beta stuff. However, iOS 10.0.1 was downloaded to my old phone before I backed it up to iTunes. When I got my new phone, it auto updated to iOS 10.0.1, and the public beta profile on my phone was missing. Is the latest software 10.0.1 or 10.0.0? Maybe I'm stuck in some public beta limbo? Anyway, just thought you should know that!)

This is a (somewhat well) known problem. You can get various frame grabs but, of course, they aren't live.

You can get something from the App store called Black - Live Wallpaper which is an independent work.

You can provide feedback at apple.com/feedback.

@sterling r doesn't understand the issue hence a response that will lead to a great deal of work without fixing the problem which is that Apple didn't include the animated wallpaper with the iPhone 7.

HI mate! I opened the same threat the other day. I am super ****** that all the iphone 7 pictures show a wallpaper that doesnt come with the iphone when you buy it. This is not acceptable! Now, how does this phone differentiate from an iphone 6s? Everyone will think its just an iphone 6s.

Wallpaper can be customized with the photos from your camera roll, actually i have fancy on this. Exactly, the new iPhone 7 does not have some familiar wallpapers, if you wanna some wallpapers that can cheer you up, i guess you can try visiting some free iPhone free wallpaper websites. Not missing!

That's strange. I would recommend a number of websites that have the stock wallpapers which you can save in your Camera Roll. For example, http://www.iphone7wallpaper.com is one of them.

It's okay to read all the replies to the OP which point out the error in your response. And that's a terrible site.

Lets make one thing clear: In every photo of an iPhone 7 or 7 plus (regardless of the color) there is a wallpaper thats missing on an actual phone when you buy it.

I dont care about some website with wallpapers, i want whats being advertised. No less, no more. And i am sure the guys on this thread agree with me.

Btw: I yust installed 10.1 beta, and there are no new wallpapers. I am using an iPhone 7 Plus, Gold, 32Gb.
