iOS 10 carplay offline music

Hi everybody,

iOS 9 was very good with CarPlay, i saw the complete icloud music library (is activated in options). If i connected the iPhone (6) with my car, is saw ONLY the Offline library in the menu of CarPlay, only the downloaded music was shown.

iOS 10 with CarPlay? I can ONLY see the complete library. No menu to the see only the offline music. In iOS 10 in the music app i can switch between complete library and the loaded music.

How can i change it? I mean, i don't want to see all the 200 artists/1000 albums in CarPlay.

iPhone 6, iOS 10

Sadly does nothing for me. Still browse music on my car and I have to give up by being bombarded by rubbish downloaded by the wife and children. Such an intolerable joy. *Ain't nobody got time for that*

It's actually forced me to move to Spotify where I have more control and applicable music than I now do on my iTunes. Be ****** if I'm taking the time to wade through the thousands and thousands of rubbish I now have on my phone when I have good playlists on Spotify.

I don't like to say it, and maybe I'm completely wrong, but Apple post-Jobs, is becoming a bit of a joke.

I've just sold my 2014 Retina MBP and gone back to a 2011 MBP so I don't have to deal with the Yosemite/El Capitan/MacOS problems and now iOS is trying to force me away from an ecosystem I once loved as well. 😢

I have complained over and over again to Apple. This is really annoying in Carplay and when I am using Siri. I was hoping 10.2 would fix the issue but no luck.

Here is the best solution.... log out of the itunes and app store on your phone. The phone will only show downloaded songs. Siri and carplay will only have access to songs and metadata locally on your phone. Everything in the cloud disappears from your device.

This is not the best solution but it works. I doubt apple wants you to do this but the heck with apple. The only problem is you will have to log in every time you want to download an app from the store. Or you can just sync your phone and do it with your computer.
