I would like to report an issue related to "hangs up" problem on iOS 10, iPhone 5S

App does not response or need to wait for few minutes to response.

If you have any suggestion other than rolling back to iOS 9x, please kindly teach me.

Unfortunately I have nothing more to add, other than to say that the iOS 10.0.2 update failed to correct the problem. I'm having the same issue with the phone/messages/contacts app where they'll freeze up for seconds to minutes and I have to close and re-start. It's especially frustrating because you'd think that the phone functionality would be central to any new OS for the iPHONE. I'm holding out for a new solution or another update.

MY IPhone 6s Plus still locking up and having to force reset to get it to unfreeze. It happens every few messages that come in. Text messages. Not voice messages or missed calls, though it does it on missed calls too. I'm getting really sick of apple in the fact that they still haven't fixed their native browser to fix the bug. I still get clicks that don't respond until I rotate the phone from portra to landscape or Vice versa to get the touch or buttons to work. Very Annoying. Come on Apple fix this stuff I left android for stability and performance and have yet to get either. Still poor call quality. People can't hear me or say I'm in a deep tunnel or sounding really muffled. Can't wait to dump this phone. Wanted iPhone 7 but honestly I'm done with the useless updates.

I thought ios 10.0.2 would solve the problem... but it didn't. I dont know why Apple doesn't pay attention to us. Maybe they don't care about users of old phones ?? Isn't this forum read by Apple staff ?? What other option or way do we have to make Apple really know about this?? this is so annoying. Is there another "direct" channel to do Apple really does something about it ??

Hello Guys,

I also facing this problem, and frustating.

I'm using iphone 6s and upgrade to ios 10.0.0 without any problem, so that I suggest my wife which use iphone 6 to upgrade. When she upgrades it's already 10.0.2...

But, after upgrade, she got problem and the iOS seems not good for her. Even to open lock screen is very difficult, since the touch ID in iphone 6 is less responsive then the newer generation.

But the worst problem is about Phone and Message app built in from Apple.

After several calls, the phone app cannot be used, even Whatsapp Call also cannot.

And incoming call also not appear in the phone !!


This is crazy bugs from Apple, did they hear it ?


Anybody can help me how to downgrade to earlier version of iOS ?

IIt's bs. Their should be a law hat states if the device manufacturer forces you or your device to update, they must give you technical support. Maybe enough people should band together as a team. Apple has gone down badly. I'm severely angry that I have been purposely not downloading and installing the new patches. After 2 months of declining when I went to bed one night and woke up the next my phone had been updated. It's really illegal since you own the device. They are taking control of it when you own it. Why haven't they fixed safari yet either?? Still have to rotate the phone to get it to recognize my taps or selections. It's very annoying. I'm seriously going back to either blackberry or android. There are barely any apps out there for iPhone, and there are some really good apps but Apple wants to take control so they won't approve really good apps. They want you to have what they feel you need and that's it.


MY phone still locking up on random text messages and missed or even answered calls. It's not consistent in times or the number of texts between but it's consistently inconsistent. This phone is not working out for my business needs. It's causing me to loose business. Still getting the what I can't hear you, you sound garbled or muffled. Thought they fixed that on 10.0.2. Bleh.
