Turn off calculator keyboard sound iOS 10

I backed up my iPhone 6 to the iTunes on my computer and transferred to my 7 from there. All my info transferred including my notes.

Thank you! I will try it. Also, for the keyboard sound it may be muted by clicking your mute key above volume controls on phone. There still should be another way besides this though. Example: I muted a bit ago & went back to cooking. My husband was calling from the market but I missed it bc phone was still on mute from using calculator. iOS 10 update is causing marital problems, lol!

Also same sound when you're scrolling through a pop up menu on safari(or any browser).

"Digits, the calculator for humans" by shift software app in the App Store. Doesn't click - when Apple fixes the clicks in Calculator, I'll use it.

The same sound is heard when scrolling times in Calendar. Apple, please help!

Same here - super annoying sounds on the calendar and calculator. Wondering when the fix for that will come in...

I found this odd also, but I suspect that Apple Will fix it before long. LOL

As it appears that this was an intentional change, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Only if they believe it's broken.

One suggestion is to download a 3rd party keyboard app which does not have that sound. Download one off the app store then you can them add by going to Settings>General>Keyboard >Keyboards and the Keyboard should appear if not push add new keyboard. Make sure to allow full access and then you can delete the old keyboard this should then make your new keyboard the standard one.

But I'm afraid ,as far as I know, you cannot turn off the sound for the IOS keyboard.

Yes, you certainly can, under Settings>Sounds>Keyboard Clicks. However, that's not the issue being discussed here. The concern people have is with the sounds the keys make in the Calculator app.

Happens also in Calendar and in Clock ... the sounds are quite nice, but really important they can be muted.

It seems you can mute the sound with the mute button, but not turn it off.

The mute switch does eliminate the sound for as long as you have the mute switch engaged.
