Turn off calculator keyboard sound iOS 10

I would also like to have a way of turning off the keyboard click sounds in the calculator and other apps. I hope Apple makes a change soon.

I feel the same way! Drives me nuts. It's always the first thing to turn off.

Someone in their wisdom decided to grace us with keyboard sounds in ios10, apparently, with no way to turn it off. Fantastic

It would only be "broken" if it was an unintentional change. That seems unlikely. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

You can turn off keyboard clicks for the standard keyboards, just as you've always been able to do. What you can't turn off are sounds for some apps.

Turning volume up (with the volume + switch on the side of your iPhone) will REDUCE the calculator click sound. So turn the volume up to the max for a minimum click sound! This is a silly work-around until Apple comes with a decent fix......

With volume to the max the calculator click is hardly audible! Good enough for me 🙂.

My solution of yesterday (turning volume up results in reduction of the calculator click sound) only happened once. It doesn't reproduce. Very strange. Sorry for the confusion.

In desperation I have turned off all sound. this is really annoying.

The only way to shut it up temporarily is by muting it by clicking your mute key above volume controls on phone. There still should be another way besides this though. I cannot believe they haven't fixed it yet. Just don't forget to turn the mute back on when you're finished.

This is also happening with Tinder app.

Searched all of my settings - no apparently way to turn it off.
