iPhone 6 can't play video in ios 10

I've updated my iOS to 10.1 and so far, the issue haven't happened yet, still crossing my fingers that it's already fixed.

iOS 10 hasn't fixed anything. if you follow the thread you'll see that we all have some form of iOS 10.

I've turned to using different phones for my business because we couldn't afford to wait for nothing to happen. Still have my personal iPhone and still have the same stupid issue. Thanks iOS 10

I got the same issue as you.

10.1 doesn't fix anything (the videos work again because of rebooting the iphone. The bug is quickly back again). that looks like a memory allocation issue, but I'm not sure.

I already switched back from mac to PC. May be I will do the same with my smartphone if Apple doesn't fix that quickly.

I'm fed up with big corp that prefer to care about their shareholders rather than their customers.

I have it with videos on MLB app for example and 10.1 it is still an issue. Audio has the Sam problem. I can usually still play audio books, but podcasts will not play. They play but you can not hear them. Pave had iPhones since the iPhone 4 and this is the first big issue I have had

You would think it's a big enough issue for Apple to address. Our business is currently cycling out of the iPhone due to this mess. We need and use video messaging often, and can't afford to keep restarting our phones.

Also been with iPhone since the 4. Always quick to address issues, but not so much now.

Nov 6th and issue still not resolved. I have 6s with iOS 10.0.2 and all forms of video will not play. Lifelong iPhone user and this is the first major issue I've had so I'm giving them a pass on this. However, it is very frustrating that they haven't even acknowledged the issue.

I've got the same problem! There have been several updates since this issue started and Apple still hasn't fixed it. I'm getting real tired of restarting my phone every day!

Does anyone think it has something to do with the Apple apps that we have been able to delete from our phones? I'm still having the same issue with my personal iPhone 6...restart at least 3 times a day.

Luckily my business phones have all been changed now. I love Apple, but this is ridiculous.

Same here. Youtube video's from the app or within facebook, ESPN app videos, and the Music app won't play to external devices (USB, BT).

Time for a .3 release and pretty quick.

I have the problem of playing video too and also the only solution is keep restarting the phone. It is so annoying. The problem have not completely solve after restarting the phone. It will appear again and again.

And you can watch video on safari or youtube again

If its happen again just play music again

I'm having the same issue too! Not sure how this will get fixed but pretty irritated that I have to keep restarting the phone and sometimes that won't help since the new iOS update

I have the exact same problem, it doesn't happen everyday but like every second day and it's driving me nuts!! It's all videos I try play, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and even my own personal videos. I shouldn't have to restart my phone just to watch a video, no one should have to. Apple needs to fix this ASAP because it's just ridiculous!! Maybe stop making us update iOS so much. How many updates does 1 phone need in a month like really.

Now I have to restart my phone for the ringer to work. I have missed a LOT of calls and it's because the phone just vibrates. When I restart it I get the ringer sound back.

Video works again after restarting the phone. Problem will come back and I restart my phone every few days and it gets tiring... hope this will be fixed on the next ios update. cheers!
