Airplay on Appletv 4 not working after TVOS10 update

I expericence a lot of problems. Almost nothing is possible to airplay to my Appletv4 after upgrading to TVOS10.

I have an Ipad 2 with ios9 and an Ipad air 2 with ios10, and everytime I try to stream anything via airplay to my Appletv it only shows for a few second - then it goes back to the menu page.

Apps works fine - but airplay doesn't work at all after the upgrade. I have tried to restart everything, including my router. No result. I wish I could downgrade. Worked perfectly well before. This is really annoying. So right now I watch my favourite football team via a Chromecast.

Mirroring my iPhone or iPad does work flawlessly. Also my AE's are visible as you see

Yes I have a 4, my AE's need a password if you want to join their network but not for AirPlay use.

That did the trick. I was using a device and an Airplay password. I removed the Airplay password and now it works. Still this wasn't an issue with the aTV's 1 & 3 and the aTV4 with the previous tvOS, but anyway thanx for the hint now I can enjoy my movies through my HiFi equipment......

I can confirm I am also experiencing the exact same issue as Cousin BR. Stream starts for two seconds and then cuts out. To clarify this is from an streaming service I use, it played fine before the TVos10 update. But now no joy.

Have you tried restarting your Apple TV? It's under Settings > System.
