iPhone 7 with Aux?

With my iPhone 5s, I have been using the headphone port to connect it to my car stereo using the "aux" input. This allows me to charge the phone via a Lightning to USB connection at the same time.

It seems that I will not be able to do this with the iPhone 7. In other words, I could either use the Lightning to headphone adapter that comes with the iPhone 7 to connect to my stereo aux input, or I can charge the iPhone via Lightning to USB, but I can't do both at the same time.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problems, or am I misunderstanding how the iPhone 7 will work?

I understand the comments about adapters, but in my experience a wired connection (e.g. aux) is much more reliable (and sounds better) than streaming Bluetooth (assuming you car even has that). Also, since there no charging of an iPhone without a wired (Lightning) connection, I'd much rather have a single wired/Lightning connection that did both (charging and audio out) than managing separate wired and Bluetooth connections.

I never suggested BT. My car doesn't have it. The adapter I linked to is an entirely wired connection. You plug the adapter into the phone. You plug your charging cable into one lighting port on the addable and the Apple adapter into the other. Then plug your AUX cable into the Apple adapter.

Understood. My point was that assuming an adapter (whatever type) is already set up in your car, I'm looking for a solution that requires only a single (Lightning) connection to the phone when you get into the car to get both charging and music via car stereo (aux).

I saw an ad on Facebook recently for a product that seems to do this. It's called "Lightning Sound" or something like that. I'm going to check it out.
