iOS 10 - iPhone hangs on words when typing

I've noticed since upgrading to iOS 10 that if I'm typing a message in iMessage, and iMessage encounters a word that it doesn't have an autocorrect suggestion for, it will hang. If I shut down iMessage, restart it, and try again, it does the same thing.

I also see the same issue in the Facebook app. What did they change in iOS 10 that's causing this problem? So far, I'm not liking iOS 10.

I to have had this issue and is the most annoying thing to happen. As a professional needing to reply to emails and research and not having a working keyboard and having to reset literally 15+ times per day is just not right.

I have spoken to apple since september and switched 4 phones out. It is definitely the ios 10 upgrade and still not fixed. Spoke to Senior tech support and store over 10 times. Apple needs to get this fixed. Unacceptable!
